How It Works

You always see a digital proof and approve it before anything is engraved or printed. Here is the whole process, start to finish.

  1. Step 1: Tell us what you want

Send your idea, quantity, and the date you need it by — or design it yourself in our online golf ball and drawer tools. A rough sketch or a photo of something similar is plenty to start.

  2. Step 2: We quote it

You get a price for the whole job, including engraving or printing, any setup, and shipping quoted for your address (we never guess a flat rate). Local pickup in Calgary is free.

  3. Step 3: We send a proof

Before anything is engraved or printed you get a digital proof showing exactly how your artwork sits on the item — size, placement, and colour. Nothing goes on a machine until you approve it.

  4. Step 4: You approve or ask for changes

Changes at the proof stage are free and expected. Most orders take one or two rounds. This is the point to move a logo, resize text, or swap a colour.

  5. Step 5: We make it and get it to you

Most orders are ready in 3–5 business days after you approve the proof. Pick up in Calgary or we ship across Canada.

What artwork can you send?

Short answer: whatever you have. Here is what works best, and why.

Best — vector artwork

.ai, .eps, .svg, .pdf

Scales to any size with perfectly crisp edges. If your logo came from a designer, you probably have one of these even if you have never opened it.

Usually fine — high-resolution images

.png, .jpg, .webp

Works well when the image is large and sharp. A transparent-background .png is ideal for logos. Aim for at least 1000 pixels across the artwork itself.

Send it anyway — anything else

photos, screenshots, business cards, sketches

We can often redraw artwork from a photo, a screenshot, or a business card. Tell us what you have and we will say what is workable before you spend anything.

Not sure what you have? Send it over and we will tell you before you spend anything.

Good to know

Do I need a designer?
No. Most of our orders start from a photo, a sketch, or a few lines of text. We set the artwork up and show you a proof.
Can you match a specific colour?
For full-colour UV printing, yes — tell us the colour and we will match it as closely as the material allows. Laser engraving has no colour: it marks the material itself, so the finish is whatever that surface produces.
What if my image is low resolution?
We will tell you before we start. Often we can redraw it cleanly; sometimes a small logo on a small item is fine as-is. We would rather flag it at the quote than surprise you at the proof.
Can I supply my own items to engrave?
Yes — tumblers, glassware, boards, and more. Read the disclaimer first, since we cannot guarantee items we did not supply.
